So far so good...

Well, as you can see we ended up with a lot more stuff in the garage! I have no idea where all of this stuff was in our house, but we somehow managed to get it all boxed up and moved to Arizona!! This picture doesn't even include any of our furniture!!! (notice the lawnmower...like we are even going to need that once we get there)Ryan has officially moved to Tempe, he has an address and everything. He and our good friend Notz (Jason) packed up the truck and headed south and got moved into an apartment, everything from the truck unloaded and into a storage unit within days. There is NO way we could have handled the stress of packing/moving in such short notice without the help of our friends. Sarah, Notz (who even drove all the way down there with Ryan), A.Bell, Noack and Mario you all mean so much to us and we sincerely thank you for all the help you gave us. It went by so fast and smooth with all of your help!

I'm not going to lie, it's a little nerve-wracking knowing that everything you have ever owned is in a truck headed to the unknown.

So, my last semester is well underway. It is going to be a brutal one (I wish I was that senior who only had electives left so I could do something fun, but as we all know I am just happy to be at the end) I have 7 classes so I am on campus every day (today for 10.5 hours) but I am staying positive and looking forward to all the wonderful things that are in our near future...i.e. house hunting...I actually get to go to Phoenix in less than 3 weeks (thanks to my AMAZING in-laws) and hopefully we can start looking for houses which I am very excited about. Ryan has informed me that my inbox will begin receiving houses as soon as tomorrow. It's crazy when you start thinking about what you want and need in a house and even crazier when you take things into consideration such as what the school district(s) will be like for our children.

Another day of packing!

Good afternoon my people! We are getting dangerously close to moving day. Jackie has been a trooper with the packing, and we all know if it was left up to me we would be getting nowhere! I think by the end of today just about everything will be packed and ready to go into the moving truck.

Ryan's tips for moving #1: Always shop around for a moving truck. There are several companies that will rent out trucks, such as U-Haul, Penske, Ryder, and Budget. They must be hurting real bad right now because all of them want to make you a deal. I have now dropped the price of our moving truck $800 bellow the original quote I received and I have just gotten started wheeling and dealing with these yahoos!

Well...I better get back to brown boxes and packing tape!

Have a great day and I'll right again soon.

Bare with me, I am new at this...

Okay, I have set up this blog to give you all a little more information about what is happening with us! I am new to the blogging world so hopefully I can learn fast. I hope to get Ryan on here every now and then to keep it entertaining.

Right now, A LOT is happening! If you haven't heard, we are moving to Arizona!!!! Ryan got a really great job opportunity in Tempe that we could not pass up. He is definitely looking out for the good of our future family and sometimes you have to do what you have to do. That being said...

We have spend the last 3 days packing and going through a LOT of stuff (way more than I thought we had). Our donation quota for the year has definitely been met to the point where they are probably just annoyed with us and all of our "treasured" belongings. Our house is a complete disaster and we can't find anything we are looking for, but we are getting close to seeing the end of all the packing! It is crazy the amount of stuff you collect throughout your life; I remember when we moved into our apartment (4.5 years ago) we got everything here in 1 trailer! I guess that is called building your life and I should be grateful for the life we have begun to build.

I will try and keep you all updated without getting too emotional in the coming weeks.

This is a picture of our garage thus far and that isn't even all of it!!!
