15 months old

I find myself saying this all the time, but I can't believe how fast Rylee is growing up!  We have decided we no longer have a baby, we have a talkative little person who thinks she runs the show.  She has become so much fun and we truly love every second we have with her.  She talks NON-STOP and I can't even keep up with all the words she knows and she will try to repeat almost everything she hears.  Right now she loves to say "hello" and hold anything that resembles a phone up to her ear and then say "bye bye".  Another thing that I still need to get on video but as soon as I get the camera out she stops.  She will tell us something and then start to laugh hysterically, then get serious and tell us something else, then laugh and repeats this like 5-6 times.  Ryan says she's telling jokes.  She loves to tell people "hi" and wave and then say bye, most of the time after they have already gone away.  She seems to be a hit everywhere we go.  I feel so lost when I so somewhere without her, no one ever talks to me haha

At her 15mo check up she weighed in at 22.5 pounds (65%) was 32 inches tall (92%) and has a head circumference of 18.5 inches (80%).  She did NOTTTTTT like the Dr's office.  I think she is starting to figure it out and that every time we go in there she gets shot(s).  Poor thing.  She pretty much screamed the whole time we were there, and was not having any part of sitting on the examining table.  Good thing daddy was there to provide lots of loves and cuddles.  Our battle will begin (i'm thinking around the first of the year) with her nighttime bottle and pacifier to sleep habit.  Now that she has all her front teeth and is starting on her back teeth it's time to see them go.  This should be an interesting task, wish us luck!

Rylee has become very lovey lately which dad and I agree is the best thing ever!  She likes to give hugs and will pat us on the back or on the arm.  In the morning when we go to get her up we almost always get big hugs.  We still have to ask for kisses and when she is in the mood will give out lots!  There is the occasional random kiss every once in a while which just melts my heart.  We just can't get enough of this girl!

Mmmmmmmm

For Thanksgiving I made pumpkin bars (which are DELICIOUS by the way) and when I was done making the frosting I gave Rylee a little lick.  Well, she ended up taking the beater from me and sat down and went to town!

**pay no mind to Ryan in the background :)

Happy Halloween!

I know I am a little lot late on getting this up, butttttttt....I have no excuse actually.

Well, our little peacock didn't get a good nap during the day so she was a little bit cranky when it came time to go trick-or-treating.  We went out with the Harper's and the Gugino/Herron families.  Obviously our little group is young (13mo, 9mo and 3mo) and this came to our attention (as if we didn't know) when one of our neighbors rudely informed us that none of our children could even say trick-or-treat.  Fine lady...we don't want your stupid candy anyway!!!!  I was a little mad about it at the time and for the record our kids weren't even the youngest ones out.  Dumb lady!!!

Checkin out her loot
(due to crankiness, this is pretty much the only picture we got of miss peacock not mad)

Billy Bob and Rylee
Carving pumpkins
Meemee the old lady...HILARIOUS!  She dressed up like this for school and none of her kiddos knew it was her.  Then, after school we went to wing night and she stayed in costume...too funny!  Not gonna lie, she makes one sexy granny!

Schnepf Farms...I swear no more farms for a while haha

We're Fancy!

One of Ryan's clients and his partner bought us tickets to a Polo match in Scottsdale.  Being first timers we had to research what to wear...we had to fit in ;) soooooooo Jamie and I went dress and hat shopping!  So we all got dressed up and went to tailgate.  It was really fun, not quite what I expected, but it was definitely something I would do again.

The Stomping of the divots!!!

There was a group of people, I swear they were a Fraternity, but Ryan said they were too old, that were partying it up pretty good.  A group of guys went out to stomp divots and started dancing around.  Rylee got a kick out of it.  Usually she is a good little dancer when music is playing but I think there were too many people around and she was a little shy.  They were all trying to get her to dance but she wouldn't do it for some reason.  She finally walked out into the circle and I thought she was gonna bust a move, but she never did (she did when people weren't watching her though haha) it was pretty funny.  There were all kinds of strangers taking pictures of my child, is that weird?  Anyway, one of the "frat guys" gave Rylee a chocolate chip cookie, which she got alllllllllllll over the place so we had to take her pretty BSU dress off.

Tailgating

Rylee is the life of any party!!!

Vertuccio Farm

Man, we have been going to a lot of farms lately :)  I love Fall!!!

I really really really wanted to take Rylee to a pumpkin patch this year.  I have been seeing on Facebook ads for Vertuccio Farms so I drug the family there one Saturday.  It was kind of disappointing.  I think it would be a lot more fun if Rylee was a little bigger and could play a little more.  Aaaaand...their pumpkin patch was a huge bust!!!!  It was just a very small area of corn with like 20 mini pumpkins in it.  It worked though, we got a few cute pictures (which was all I wanted).

Rylee in a maze

Love these two so much!!!

Check this out mom!

hmmmmmm, which one do I choose?

Zoo Day

I love that we have a membership to the zoo--best investment EVER!

Rachelle, Landon, Rylee and I took advantage of the 78* day that we had and went to the zoo.  Apparently everyone else had the same idea.  I was a lot busier than the day we went in September.  It was such a fun day though.  Landon could care less about the animals but Rylee enjoyed them.

Up close and personal with the orangutan

Rachelle and "Landie" (that's what Rylee calls him)

Rylee had to go visit her buddy the Baboon

The best of friends!

This little guy was only 5 days old...awe!

Elephant!!!

It was so different this time compared to last.  There were a lot more animals out or awake that we missed or didn't even see last time.  I don't want to bore you with a million pics of the animals though.

Can't wait to go back!  I know we will be there a LOT this winter!

Superstition Farm

We went to the dairy farm up the street for "Free Admission Day".  Can't say that I would actually pay to go look at cows, but it was a fun little event and it got us out of the house for a few hours.  Rylee loved all of the animals...especially the cows!  There were 1000's of them and she kept saying "mooo", but if you say it like her it sounds more like "meeeww".  I love watching her interact with other kids and there were lots of them there.  Daddy even met up with us after his meeting and went on a hay ride with us and we got to tour the dairy farm, which was actually kind of cool.  We learned that the cows on this particular farm get baths twice a day (cold water in the summer, warm water in the winter), they hang out in the AC all day (fans and misters), their corals get "cleaned" every day and AZ produces 19% of the nations milk!!!

What is that thing?

"Mom, I don't know what you expect me to do"

"Moooooo"

Dad, don't let it get me!
